FRC-15 is a lightweight woven fabric made from a 45:55 blend of Polyester and Cotton yarns pigmented with fire retardant Acrylic Vinyl providing a soft and flexible jacketing solution. This lightweight, yet durable and strong construction also provides good wear resistance, has high tear strength and is water and mildew resistant. FRC-15 jackets are ideal for applications that require flexibility, strength, and durability as well as abrasion resistance. This material has a long history of usage in clean room applications for very large diameter umbilical cables within the I.C. Test Equipment Industry. It has many different color options allowing for color coordination to related equipment. FRC-15 is available in the classic Zippertubing wrap around design and is most commonly closed using a mechanical zipper or hook and loop.
