FEP-5 is the ideal jacketing for applications desiring a lightweight, durable film that produces low outgassing and can handle extreme temperatures.

The FEP-5 material is a clear, fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) film. This jacketing is lightweight at only 0.005” thick, yet durable with resistance to abrasion and moisture as well as being self-extinguishing. This material excels in aerospace applications due to the low-outgassing properties and the ability to survive in temperatures ranging from -238° to 401°F (-150°C to 205°C). FEP-5 also meets ASTM D-3368, Type II, Grade 1, which allows bonding to other materials.
