Flex-Shield (HP)

Chandler, AZ - The Zippertubing® Co. is proud to announce the addition of Flex-Shield® (HP), a new high-performance EMI shielding, expandable braid product that is economical, extremely flexible, lightweight and has excellent shielding characteristics for EMI shielding applications. It is constructed of tin-copper foil, spirally wrapped around each aramid monofilament. Flex-Shield® (HP) is available in four sizes for cables ranging from 1/8” to 1-1/2” OD and is capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures to 150°C.

Current applications using the product include EMI shielding of in-flight entertainment systems, commercial aircraft and military electronic systems. Flex-Shield® (HP) is ideal for aerospace applications where low-cost, flexible shielding is required. Due to its shielded, braided, monofilament weave Flex-Shield® (HP) is designed to fit a variety of shapes and sizes.
