Swift-Zip® (RPU) is a non-PVC, flame-retardant, and tear-resistant cable management solution featuring a rare industry find of a continuous zipper closure with the capability to be cut to varying lengths. Swift-Zip® (RPU) uses a poly(ether)urethane-coated, polyester-fabric jacketing, which is a tough, flexible material that is ideal for cable or wire bundles that need to move effortlessly without the fear of shredding. With its white, non-PVC jacketing and fluid resistance to most solvents, Swift-Zip® (RPU) is the perfect cable management solution for the medical industry due to its clean appearance and strong bond. Additionally, the RPU jacketing is RoHS compliant, and meets the NFPA-701 (2 Sec.) and FAR-25.853a (12 Sec.) standards for flame retardancy.
The strong, RF-welded zipper closure is laminated in a polyurethane film that is resistant to water, making this solution ideal for environments that may experience exposure to fluid. Though not completely waterproof, any contact with liquid it does have will cause the liquid to simply bead off. Pairing a white zipper and white jacketing, the Swift-Zip® (RPU) has a sleek and clean look and is ideal for environments that need a sterile appearance. The zipper’s teeth thread is located within, so the outside has an even and flush exterior. Depending on needs, Swift-Zip® (RPU) can be cut to any length while still having the protection of a durable, zipped closure with a removable zipper. Finished endings can be easily stapled or sewn shut.
Swift-Zip® (RPU) offers a variety of diameter sizes from 0.5” to 4.0” and a temperature range of -40°F to 159°F (-40°C to 71°C).
