Overview

  • Meets MIL-DTL-23053/13 and MIL-R-46846, Type III, Class 1
  • Excellent fluid resistance
  • Can be exposed to temperatures up to 392°F

Viton® is a cross-linked fluoroelastomer heat shrink tubing material. The rubber-like material is fluid resistant and copper corrosion resistant. The material meets MIL-DTL-23053/13 and MIL-R-46846, Type III, Class 1, making this heat shrink an ideal choice for the military. Viton® is used for our Shrink-N-Shield® (FE), an EMI shielding heat shrink solution that is perfect for severe-duty applications. Viton® has an operational temperature range of -67°F to 392°F (-55°C to 200°C).
