Overview
- Pull-through sleeve provides 360-degree protection
- ALP-500 heat-reflective material is strong and durable
- Lock-stitched Kevlar thread provides secure, lasting closure
Pull-through heat-shielding solution ZTT® (ALP-500) provides 360-degree component protection and offers better flexibility. The ALP-500 thermal material is a fiberglass cloth that is coated on one side with polyurethane, and, on the other side, a reflective aluminum. Although ZTT® (ALP-500) is only 0.017” thick, it can shield from radiant temperatures up to 1,200°F. The heat shielding material is non-flammable and best in abrasion resistance.
ZTT® (ALP-500) utilizes Kevlar thread, which is sewn in lock-stich form for a secure, lasting closure without fraying or disjoining. Kevlar thread is military grade and meets A-A-55195, Type I (formerly MIL-T-44100) specifications, and it is also resistant to bacteria, mildew, abrasion and aging. The solution is inversely sewn into a teardrop shape to provide a clean appearance and reduce abrasion damage during installation. ZTT® (ALP-500) can also be sewn in a traditional teardrop style upon request.
We offer ZTT® (ALP-500) in diameters ranging from 1.0” to 3”, with custom shapes and sizes available upon request. The continuous operational temperature range is -58°F to 350°F (-50°C to 177°C), with a radiant temperature range of up to 1,200°F.
- Heat-reflective material handles moderate to high temperatures
- Nylon cloth leader allows for a toolless installation
- Non-flammable jacketing
- Inverse teardrop design provides clean appearance and reduces snagging
- Jacketing offers the best abrasion resistance
- Lock-stitch form ensures no fraying or disjoining of seam
