Boasting military-tough jacketing, Z flex® (PFR) was engineered for nuclear, aerospace and military industries. Because of its military-grade specifications and extensive list of resistant properties, Z flex® (PFR) is the ideal choice for applications that have stringent requirements. The double heat-sealed edges completely protect interior components from dust, debris, fluid and other harsh environmental conditions. No tools are required to install Z flex® (PFR). Additionally, Z flex® (PFR) is supplied in reel form, can be easily cut to various lengths and features a nylon oxford cloth leader for easy pull-through installation.
The PFR-18 jacketing is an ether-based polyurethane film material that is flame retardant, fungus resistant, fluid resistant and abrasion resistant. It is RoHS compliant and has also passed FAR-25 requirements for flammability. The PFR-18 jacketing is military grade as well, meeting Mil-C-27072, Mil-C-13777 and Mil-I-3930/21 specifications.
Z flex® (PFR) is ideal for flat cables ranging from 1.625” to 3.5” in diameter. Custom sizes, lengths and colors are available upon request.
